The Democratic Order of Planets (known commonly by its acronym, DOOP) is a collective organization of planets who gather together to provide a limited sort of shared governance and military defense.

Duty Uniform[]
The basic DOOP uniform consisted of a red service belted tunic and trousers with a colored pinstripe down the leg for division indication (security, engineering, etc). The tunic has raised golden striping or "rings" encircling the shoulders, four rings on men's uniforms, and 3 on women, with a "split cowl" collar with a zipper running right of the tunics center line and into the left of the collar line.
Along the uniform sleeve ends were decorated with gold or sometimes silver bands or stripes. The striping indicated officer or enlisted rank. The uniform was completed with white service all-terrain boots. Alternatively, many DOOP officers can wear pins or badges of DOOP heraldry on their tunics but many don't. Also many can wear Wrist Devices similar to Leela however this is really on the basis of importance for off-ship missions or internal ship repairs.
